'Azure Dark' has a slightly darker pallet compared to other complimenting pieces within the Azure Collection. Deep blue runs its course through the middle like a spinal shadow spreading outwards. Its tones are supported by metallic light blue, cobalt blue and shimmering gold to give a diverse contrast.

This piece boasts gold leaf detailing to give an ornate effect. The splendour of the metallic colours, coercing the light to glimmer upon it, lends the painting a capability to shift its appearance within different lighting.
